Welcome once again to Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop, travelling around the world through every time zone. You may be starting here or you may have come from the blog of the amazing Rochelle Laird-Smith.
Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop is the brainchild of Angie McKenzie, a wonderful friend and amazing paper artist. My name is Cheryll Miller, and I am so delighted to be a part of this varied and talented group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators.
Layer Up with Sunshine and Rainbows …
I decided to create a card with lots of layers of scraps from my Sunshine and Rainbows 6″x 6″ designer series paper. Thrown into the layers are some die cuts from the Brilliant Rainbow Dies.

Sunshine and Rainbows Designer Series Paper is a Sale-A-Bration item, and you can still get this until 16th March in South Pacific with an order of AU$80 or over.
The base card is Misty Moonlight and I sponged some White Craft Ink through a new stencil from the Butterflies and Flowers Masks directly onto the card front.
All the layers are then glued on top, so I guess this could be a “one layer card”, or a mega-multi layered card (depending on how you look at it).

Next up we are are going to take a trip across the ocean, all the way over to France and Aurélie Fabre’s blog.
Here is the full list of blog hop participants this month …. I wonder how all these talented ladies have interpreted the “Layer Up” theme? I am keen to see, take a little hop around the blogs and check it out. 🙂

What a mega-multi layered card, indeed! Love the craft ink stenciled on the card base to add to all the additional layers. Great way to use scraps, too! Thanks for the inspiration and for hopping with us. xx
It’s really awesome ! I first thought it was a scrapbook page and was looking for the photo but it is a card! There is really a lot of work and layers on this creation and the stencil in white on a dark background is perfect! Thank you for sharing !
So many wonderful details Cheryll! Love it!!!!
Thanks so much Wendy! xx
Wow! So many layers and so beautifully assembled!
Thanks so much Sharon, nice to let go and just keep gluing things down! xx
Wow! Look at all those layers! Such a fun card!
:). I didn’t count them Cheryl, but there are quite a few “bits of paper” in there. 🙂 xxx
What a unique and eye-catching collage!
Collage… that is a great description of this card Chris!! Thank you, I was calling it my messy, layered card. Collage sounds so much nicer! xxx
Oh my Cheryll! That is such a beautiful card. How you manage to make such a detailed card look effortless is amazing. x
Hahaha … thanks Lou! I was really starting to think I had gone a little bit overboard. But I figured such bright rainbows could be as exuberant as they wanted! 🙂 xxx
Who knew a one-layer card and a multi-layered card could be the same item?! Love the clever white stencilled layer. This is amazing, each element worth it’s place in a stunning whole.
Aaaw … thanks so much Jan. I was very worried this one was way over the top! 🙂 xxx
I LOVE all the gorgeous little bits and pieces on this card. The Misty Moonlight card base just works so well x
Thanks so much Rochelle! xx
