Abstract Beauty Suite for All Star Tutorial March 2022

Abstract Beauty Suite for All Star Tutorial March 2022

Abstract Beauty Suite of products from the new Stampin’ Up!® Jan to Jun 2022 Mini Catalogue is featured in our All Star Tutorial Bundle for this month – 12 exclusive projects with videos.

Hello and welcome to the March 2022 All Star Tutorial Blog Hop.

Abstract Beauty Suite

This project is to introduce you to the Abstract Beauty Suite of products, a fun and quirky grouping of products in a mix of bright and soft colours, abstract shapes and gorgeous sentiments. The All Star Tutorial Bundle for March 2022 features the this suite, and the designers are showcasing an alternative project to show the versatility of the products.

The projects shown in our blog posts are different to the tutorial bundle projects (the tutorial projects are exclusive and you won’t see them posted anywhere else).

I created this quite simple card with the Abstract Beauty Cards and Envelopes Pack and also the Abstract Beauty Ephemera Pack. I added in the Amazing Thanks Dies which ties in nicely with the sentiments from the Hello Beautiful stamp set.

Abstract Beauty Suite

How about these stunning, bright and happy colours? For this card, I have used the Abstract Beauty Cards and Envelopes for my base card and also for the central panels. The Abstract Beauty Cards are 10 pre-printed card bases, slightly larger than a standard card …. plus matching envelopes with pre-printed, matching liners. And each one is different (and my advice is to get two of these packs, so you don’t feel sad when you use your favourites!).
I used one of the card fronts with entire watercolour background on the front of card, and then sacrificed a second card with a brilliant yellow watercolour splash to cut my central panel and frame with Stitched Rectangle Dies.

The floral elements on my card are from the Abstract Beauty Epehemera Pack, cute and very easy little punch out pieces.

Amazing Thanks Dies

The focal piece on the card is the word AMAZING from the Amazing Thanks Dies. These dies are not part of the Abstract Beauty suite, but they do work really well with the sentiments in the Hello Beautiful stamp set.
I die cut the word “amazing” from Magenta Madness cardstock and then applied Wink of Stella glitter brush to the entire word. The central panel on the card has been popped up with dimensionas and so I added some Mini Dimensionals to the edges of the die cut word that hang off the edge of the stitched central panel.

I stamped the sentiment “First of all, you’re amazing” with Memento Black ink onto Basic White card, and then trimmed each word out separately.

The Adhesive Backed Hexagons (also part of the Abstract Beauty Suite of products) come in Basic Black, Blushing Bride and Just Jade. I coloured some of the Blushing Bride embellishments with Magenta Madness Stampin’ Blend to better co-ordinate with my project.

Below is a sneak peek of my tutorial project … as you can see, while the colours are similar, it is very different to my blog post card and features the Hello Beautiful stamp set, along with the Beautiful Shapes Dies and Abstract Beauty Ephemera pack….
