I’m Cheryll, and Sense of Whimsy is my little creative corner here in internet land.

I live with my ever patient husband Duncan, two goofy Golden Retrievers, some amusing, but not very productive chickens, and about 20,000+ bees (give or take a few) at our cosy, little cottage in McLaren Vale, South Australia.


I am a Mum, and now a Grandmother to two irresistible little munchkins who delight us every day.

On the creative front, I am a long time stamper and love messing about with inks, colour and texture. Over the years, I have explored many different techniques and products, with stamps, inks, paper and card being a constant creative outlet.  In 2010, I made the decision to become a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator to purchase fantastic, coordinating products at a discounted price. It has been an interesting and fulfilling journey since then, and the best thing about being part of the Stampin’ Up! family is having the opportunity to do what I love …. to share creativity and laughter with so many fabulous people along the way.

I am very fortunate to have a fabulous group of like-minded girls from all over Australia in our Inks and Whimsy Stampin’ Up! team and we stay in touch either in person with regular get-togethers, with live creative sessions on Facebook, and at Stampin’ Up!’s annual OnStage events.
