Delicate Forest and Thoughtful Wishes …

If I am mixing up these stamp sets and dies, I think my project is more a Thoughtful Forest than Delicate Wishes.

Let’s Brayer …

The challenge colours are quite strong … I decided to break them down a bit by using the Stampin’ Up! brayer to apply the ink.

I did add a neutral into the mix here, brayering Lost Lagoon and Gray Granite onto the Basic White background panel. To achieve the textured effect, ink up the brayer and then brayer onto scrap paper before applying the ink to the cardstock.

The images in the background are from Delicate Forest and Thoughtful Wishes stamp sets, stamped with Lost Lagoon ink. I also added one of the smaller images along the bottom using White Craft Ink.

I splattered the background with Gray Granite ink and then with White Craft Ink, both mixed with a little bit of water to create a splattery fluid.

The foreground foliage pieces are from the Delicate Forest and Thoughtful Wishes die sets, cut from white card. I brayered the die cuts with Cajun Craze, Red Real and Daffodil Delight ink. Brayering the ink onto the die cuts creates a textured look and leaves a slight white border around the edges (make sure you remove some of the ink from the brayer by applying to scrap paper first). You could brayer up some white card first and then die cut from the brayered pieces if you don’t like the white edges.

The sentiment is from Delicate Forest, stamped with Gray Granite ink. The embellishments are the Iridescent Foil Gems, coloured up with Lost Lagoon ink.
