Curvy Celebrations Stamp Set and Curvy Dies have been used today to create a little bit of the World Around Me for the Around the World on Wednesday blog hop for October, 2020.

Welcome once again to Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop, travelling around the world through every time zone. You may be starting here or you may have come from the fabulous Cazz Boylan’s blog.
Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop is the brainchild of Angie McKenzie, a wonderful friend and amazing paper artist. My name is Cheryll Miller, and I am so delighted to be a part of this varied and talented group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators.
The World Around Us …

I have taken the challenge very literally this month, and quite literally created a little piece of the World Around Me.
I live in McLaren Vale, South Australia. It is a beautiful wine region of Australia, nestled at the base of the Adelaide Hills. The brand new and available in November Curvy Celebrations bundle had just arrived on my craft table and I could immediately see hills, trees and grapevines …. perfect!!!
Curvy Celebrations Bundle ….

The Curvy Celebrations Bundle will be available 3rd November 2020, you will be able to purchase the Quite Curvy Stamp Set and the Dies as a bundle, and the Curvy Christmas Stamp Set separately. There is also a pack of Christmas Patterned Paper in red/green/Sahara Sand. Check back with me on 3rd November to order. Click on the image above to download the PDF Flyer.
The view from my gate …
So back to my little scene …. the row of trees on a curvy hillside stamp from the Curvy Christmas stamp set represents the wooded hills over in the distance. And sure, the trees in my view aren’t pine trees, but hey, it’s stylised remember! 😉 This image is easy to stamp and colour with Stampin’ Blends.

The leafy curving vine image from the Quite Curvy stamp set represents vineyards in the foreground, also stamped and coloured with Stampin’ Blends … but with the added bonus of having a die to cut them out.

I also found the smaller floral image in the Quite Curvy stamp set, and that reminds me of some of the florals in our front yard … beautiful in Spring. The rows of green cardstock are representative of the rows of vineyards surrounding us here in McLaren Vale, and these were easily cut using the curving die from the Curvy Dies. I just didn’t use the dotted border side.
Here is a recent sunset image from my front gate (slightly different orientation to the first image) that shows more of my inspiration for this card.

I am so excited to see how all my fellow AWOW Tag Team have interpreted this theme this month.
