Distressed Tiles 3D Embossing Folder for Colour INKspiration Challenge #159

Distressed Tiles 3D Embossing Folder for Colour INKspiration Challenge #159

Loading

The Distressed Tiles 3d Embossing Folder would have to be one of my favourite embossing folders, a carry over item available online.

Welcome to my blog. Today’s post is for Colour INKspirations Colour Challenge #159. Our inspiration pic for this challenge was chosen by design team member, Nicole Wilson. And what a beautiful inspiration image it is. Donna Hardcastle is our guest designer for this challenge and I love her project featuring these colours.

CI#159 will run for FOUR weeks and will end at 7 pm (AEDT) on Monday February 26th.

Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder …

The Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder is one of my absolute favourites. Today I have combined it with the Petal Patterns Dies, the Lovely and Sweet Dies, the Notes of Nature Dies and the Notes of Nature Stamp Set for my project for the Colour Inkspiration Colour Challenge #159.

.

Step 1. I applied Berry Burst ink to the Distressed Tile Embossing Folder with the Stampin’ Brayer and inserted some Smoky Slate cardstock into the folder before running through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.

Step 2. I die cut the finer of the dies from Petal Patterns dies out of Basic White cardstock with Adhesive Sheet attached to the back. This makes it way easier to adhere the die to a panel of Basic White cardstock and trim off the overhanging edges of the die cut piece.

Step 3. I adhered the Basic White panel over the right hand side of the inked and embossed panel and matted with another piece of Basic White card.

Step 4. The flowers are die cut from a Berry Burst watercoloured panel of Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper and these pretty flowers are from the Lovely & Sweet Dies.

Step 5. The leaves are from the Notes of Nature Dies and are die cut from Pretty Peacock cardstock.

Step 6. The white circular die is from the Stylish Shapes Dies and has been stamped with the splatter image from Notes of Nature Stamp Set and Berry Burst ink. Then the leaves and flowers have been adhered around the edge of the circular piece.

Step 7. The sentiment is from the Notes of Nature stamp Set, stamped with Versamark and then Pretty Peacock ink onto Basic White card stock and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I have die cut the sentiment with a die from the Lovely & Sweet Dies.

If you have it, use it!

I will be the first to admit that I used many, many different products in this card, but if you have “stuff”, why not use it! For a full list of products used, see the list at the end of the blog post.
