New Mini Catalogue 2022 is coming in January! I am so excited at all the new product, and a little bit sad at seeing some of the old go.

Welcome once again to Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop, travelling around the world through every time zone. You may be starting here or you may have come from the blog of the amazing Rochelle Laird-Smith.
Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop is the brainchild of Angie McKenzie, a wonderful friend and amazing paper artist. My name is Cheryll Miller, and I am so delighted to be a part of this varied and talented group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators.
This month, the theme is “Something New, Something Old”! I must admit, my thoughts immediately went to the box of new goodies from Stampin’ Up!® that have been sitting here on my desk since Onstage! And I decided to incorporate something into my project from the Jul-Dec 2021 Mini Catalogue as well … which is not technically really “old”, but hey … it is not as new!
Amazing Silhouettes paired with Nature’s Harvest

I created this card first, in preparation for this blog hop and also for my Whimsy Wednesday Creative Live on Facebook. The colours used are Balmy Blue, Flirty Flamingo, Just Jade and Misty Moonlight for the Sentiment. The colouring method for the Amazing Silhouettes images is applying colour to the stamp with Blending Brushes, utilising the Stamparatus to build up the colours.
The “old” is the Nature’s Harvest stamp set and die bundle, along with the Timeless Type 3D Embossing Folder. These products from the Jul-Dec 2021 Mini Catalogue will be carrying over and available until mid next year.
I am not going to go into too much detail about the creative process here. I do have a tutorial PDF prepared for you to download, and you can also watch the creative live in my Stampin’ Up!® group on Facebook.
Here are some close ups of this card.

Let’s try a different colourway …

With the assistance of the ladies who joined me live for Whimsy Wednesday, we chose a slightly different colourway … Daffodil Delight, Polished Pink, Just Jade and Misty Moonlight. I really love the bright and cheery feel of this card!
Here are some close up pics.

So which is your favourite? Let me know in the comments!

Love both of these! I will have to try applying ink with the blending brushes, it gives a lovely soft look. 🙂
