Forever Fern stamp set and the Forever Flourishes Dies are featured for the Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop.
Welcome back to Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop, travelling around the world through every time zone. You may be starting here or you may have come from the gorgeous Cazz Boylan’s blog. Our guest designer this month is ……drum roll ….. Cindy Schuster.
Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop is the brainchild of Angie McKenzie, a wonderful friend and amazing paper artist. My name is Cheryll Miller, and I am so delighted to be a part of this varied and talented group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. For this, our second hop, we continue exploring All Things Crafty … focusing on the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue.

Forever Fern Stamp Set and Forever Flourishing Dies
Without a doubt, my favourite bundle from the new catalogue is the Forever Fern stamp set and die bundle. This is an extremely versatile set which can stand alone, but will also be the perfect accompaniment for the many beautiful floral stamp sets on offer from Stampin’ Up!
I have used the Baby Wipe technique, dropping ink refill in Pretty Peacock, Pacific Point and Seaside Spray onto a temporary ink pad made from baby wipes. Then pressing the stamps onto the inky surface to create a variegated colouring. These leafy images are perfect for this technique as they are beautifully detailed with lots of texture and tone.
I have not yet received my Misty Moonlight ink pad … however this will become a firm favourite colour from the new In Colours I think. I have used the Misty Moonlight cardstock as a layer and the beautiful Misty Moonlight twill ribbon on my card, but for the ink colours, I had to choose existing colours from the Stampin’ Up! colour range that “mixed” up on the Baby Wipe to tone with Misty Moonlight. I used Pretty Peacock, Pacific Point and Seaside Spray. An unusual combination, but I think they work really well with the Misty Moonlight.
I have also used the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch for the sentiment … another new product which I have used in almost every project I have created since I received this wonderful punch in my pre-order. It is AMAZING!!!!!
The stitched die you can see in the background is from a firm favourite, Stitched So Sweetly dies, carried over into the Annual Catalogue. Yay! This label has been embossed with one of the Greenery embossing folders, also part of the Forever Greenery Suite of products.
I am keen to see how many others in the AWOW team feature this stamp set and die bundle … it is a very popular one!
