Jar of Flowers stamp set is a part of the Flowers for Every Season suite of products from the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue.

Welcome to my blog on this second Sunday of June 2020. Today I am hopping with the Stamping Sunday Second Sunday team hosted by Sara Levin, the Artful Inker. This month we are featuring a suite of products in the new Stampin’ Up! catalogue …. Flowers for Every Season.

Jar of Flowers Stamp Set

Jar of Flowers Avid Card

My main project today features the Jar of Flowers Stamp Set, along with the co-ordinating Memories and More card pack, and the amazing Memories and More Cards and Envelopes.
And just for fun …. I skipped the jar, and created exuberant bunches of flowers wrapped up in ribbon.

This is definitely an avid project … I stamped and coloured the bunch of flowers three times, then fussy cut different elements to make a larger, more dimensional bunch of flowers. The Cinnamon Cider folded card is from the Memories and More card pack, which comes with co-ordinating envelopes. Love, love, love that little dotted frame which comes already printed on the folded cards!

The sentiments are from the Memories and More card pack …. the “you” is an ombre sticker! So easy!

Beginner, Casual and Avid Crafters

For this hop, I am featuring the “Beginner, Casual and Avid” samples. If you are familiar with Stampin’ Up! you will have seen these terms used quite a bit this year.

A beginner crafter is someone who is new to stamping, and will be looking to create with just inks, stamps and paper.

A casual crafter is someone who thinks that this papercrafting lark is pretty good and is keen to move beyond the basic supplies, maybe get a punch or two … or even invest in a diecutting machine.

An avid crafter is feeling the passion, knows that getting into the craft room is an inexpensive form of therapy, and is accumulating lots of “things”. Of course, she wants to use them all and doesn’t blink an eye at taking an hour to make a card! 😉

Which type of crafter are you?

Beginner Project

At the other end of the scale, my beginner project is incredibly simple and makes full use of the Memories and More Card Pack.

Memories and More Cards to make simple cards

Another one of those pre-printed folded cards, this time in Misty Moonlight … and the panel in the white, dotted frame is simply one of the 3″ x 4″ cards from the Memories and More card pack, matted with a Bumblebee patterned layer. And then the “Celebrate” is another of those ombre stickers! Add a scattering of Just Jade In Color Enamel Dots. And you are done.

This card literally took me just five minutes to adhere everything onto the card front. Super, super simple … but oh so stunning!

Casual Project

For an in-between project, a step up from the very simple beginner card, but not quite as intense and multiple layers of fussy cutting …. this card is one of the images stamped and coloured with Stampin’ Blends, matted with Magenta Madness cardstock and layered into the dotted frame on a Just Jade folded card.

Jar of Flowers Casual

The flowers have been coloured with Rococo Rose and Magenta Madness Stampin’ Blends and Just Jade for the stems and leaves. The sentiment is cut out from one of the Memories and More Cards, the ribbon tying the flowers is also Just Jade … and again, a scattering of Just Jade In Color Enamel Dots completes the card.
