Here is a little sneak peek of my class project for our video bundle this month. My video showcases emboss resist technique using the Countryside Corner Frames.

Countryside Corners Bundle …
My cards for the hop today are totally different to my Class Bundle project ….
I have used the Countryside Corners Bundle to showcase how the new In Colours co-ordinate in a recent team creative event. We swapped out our ribbon colour with the person seated next to us to randomly choose the combinations. Some interesting colour combos here, some we might not have normally paired up … but they all seem to get along just fine.
Mostly we used the Cheerful Daisies Bundle as our highlight, which worked well for most colour combinations.
Here is a little bit of Wild Wheat on Moody Mauve.
We used the new In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper as our background layers. The Countryside Corners stamp set is a single stamp, so you stamp once and then choose which of the Countryside Corners dies you want to use to cut a panel or a frame. We stamped in the same colour as our ribbon onto Basic White card and cut a panel using the second largest of the dies.
Moody Mauve on Copper Clay was not a combination I thought would work, but the Moody Mauve daisies totally brought this card to life.
The ribbon was adhered over the stamped panel, sometimes we looped the ends and sometimes cut them diagonally for different effects. Where the colour combo was a little too “masculine” for daisies, we used the Seaside Bay Bundle.
Copper Clay on Pebbled Path is a lovely elegant combination, especially for a masculine card.
The feature frame has been stamped in the same ink as the cardstock (and the background Designer Series Paper), and then die cut to feature two of the frame images.
The card can be either landscape or portrait mode, yet another choice for my creative team members.
Loving the Pebbled Path highlights on Boho Blue. For this one, I elected to stamp the daisies in the prettier Boho Blue colouring instead of Pebbled Path.
The sentiment can be smaller to show off the dotted frame on the original stamped frame panel, or for larger sentiments, we filled in the entire centre. Either way looks great.
And then just about any stamp in your stash could be used for the feature pieces adhered over the frame, and we elected to use the new Cheerful Daisies bundle, or the Seaside Bay Bundle.
We added a few of the 2023-2025 In Color Dots embellishments to finish the card off with just a touch of bling.
Wild Wheat is a love it/hate it type colour. It is a colour that will work as a little touch here and there. I love it and here it is the feature shade, pairing nicely with a touch of Boho Blue.
