Welcome to my blog today … I am once again hopping with the amazing Creating Kindness Design Team. What a wonderful team of creative souls! Our guest designer this month is Anja Luft. Anja hails from Hamburg, Germany and she is such a talented paper artist! Check our her blog here.
Here is a sneak peek image of just a few of the projects this month, we are featuring all types of packaging… just to whet your appetite for hopping around all the Creating Kindness Design Team blog participants who are listed at the bottom of this post.
We are so lucky to have so many wonderful products in the Stampin’ Up! range to use for projects other than cardmaking … memory keeping, party and home decor, and of course, gift packaging. This was an opportune post … my Granddaughter is having her fourth birthday party in the next few weeks and so I have been tasked to create the party favours. I have fallen back on a very old template for a Triangle Gift Box, and have created them in rainbow colours.
TRIANGLE TREAT BOXES
I have stamped the cardstock with the stripes and spots background images from the Playful Backgrounds stamp set, using the same colour ink as the card stock.
I have tied up the boxes with some retired gold ribbon as my new ribbon stocks are very low with the change over to the brand new annual catalogue from Stampin’ Up!
Decorating the boxes is a work in progress. I am waiting on the name list of the party guests so I can put their initials on each box. As a sample, I have done up Stelli’s box. She is one cool dude, so I have added the sunglasses image from Pocketful of Sunshine. The thank you comes from “All Things Thanks” stamp set. I will get Stelli over to tell me about her friends and she can help decorate each box with an image appropriate to the recipient.
I have used bright icecream colours, including some of the new colours … Lovely Lipstick, Mango Melody, Balmy Blue and Highland Heather. Returning In Colour Coastal Cabana is also in there, along with Lemon Lime Twist, Calypso Coral, and Daffodil Delight.
Once the box is untied, two sides open up to reveal ….. hopefully more exciting treats than coloured buttons! Haha!
I am in the process of creating a video and diagram and will add that shortly, however many of the other Creating Kindness Team Members have created wonderful and very helpful videos, so make sure you check them out. I will put the video list below the blog hop list.
Next up is the wonderfully talented Danielle Bennenk on her blog Mrs Brightside.
Here is the full blog roll ….
And here is the list of video participants this month ….
We would love it if you would pop around and check out the videos!
