Curvy Christmas Photopolymer Stamp Set co-ordinates with the Curvy Dies and I have used these products to create for Colour Inspiration Challenge #89.
Welcome to my blog … my project today was created as an entry in the Colour INKspiration Challenge #89.
Curvy Christmas Stamp Set
It’s a very Christmassy combination! So I have created a very Christmassy card using all four colours and the emboss resist technique. The Christmas Trees have been white heat embossed onto Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper first, and then I water coloured over the top with Just Jade and Shaded Spruce ink. This allowed me to place my colour more heavily to define the hills. That gorgeous curved die with the little dotted border is my favourite of the border dies and edges the bottom of the water coloured panel.
Die cut template saves the day …
The sentiment has been inked up with Versamark ink and then Poppy Parade ink, stamped onto a Gray Granite card panel to echo the curved die cut and clear embossed.
I then had a bit of a void space to the left of the card. A little Linen Thread bow looked good, but it did rather look like a Nigel No Friends sitting over there, removed from the overall card design. So I die cut that same dotted curve out of scrap card and used it as a template to add little Poppy Parade dots with a Stampin’ Write Marker on the same line as the sentiment. This linked the Linen Thread bow to the rest of the card brilliantly!
