A review of some of my favourite projects

Favourite projects …. how to choose?

I love to apply for any opportunity Stampin’ Up! offers, and one of those opportunities is to be a display stamper at the next Onstage event.  I am so excited to be heading over to Orlando for the 30th Anniversary 3 day onstage event in November … how cool would it be to be a display stamper at such a huge event.

So here are a few of my favourite projects from the last six months.

Varied Vases Card

Varied Vases MainThis card really appeals to me …I am not sure if it is the colours or the simplicity of these gorgeous little vases from the Varied Vases stamp set.  Colouring with Stampin’ Blends over the Designer Series Paper gives a really wonderful result.

Fun Scrapbook Page

I love these fun, silly photos of myself and my granddaughter. I had so much fun creating this 12″ x 12″ layout. I do a lot of pocket page memory keeping, but it is always so liberating (and sometimes scary) to have a whole page to play with. And some images need that larger space.

A non waterfront card using Waterfront Stamp Set

The Waterfront Stamp Set is one of my favourites … I love that all the different elements combine to create so many different scenes.  The only limit is your imagination. I used a photograph as the starting point for this card. So much fun to create in this way.

Stitched Seed Beads

A little Mini Pizza Box decorated for very special gift giving.  The little seed beads have been hand stitched onto the Soft Sea Foam card, which has been die cut with the cross stitching die out of the Stitched Labels Framelits. And did you know that  Stampin’ Up! have seed beads in the Annual Catalogue … The Tranquil Textures Sprinkles include teeny little seed beads … cute!

Stitched Label Deliciousness

Card 2 Floral Stitched Label

This card was created to highlight the fabulous Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper.  This pretty Garden Impressions paper must be one of my favourites.  I die cut a stitched label out of the Designer Series Paper and the ran it through the Subtle Embossing folder for lots of wonderful texture.  This card was so simple and yet is one that really appeals to me.

Gift Bag with Window

Darling Label Gift Bag

The windows in this gift bag are created with the Darling Label Punch and lined with window sheet. I originally filled this bag with a bag of chocolate treats, however the paper on the inside of the bag is so pretty showing through the windows, I ended up taking those ugly old chocolates out (I can’t believe I said that), to show off the Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper inside the bag.

So what do you think?  If you follow my blog regularly, would these have been your favourites?  It is so hard to choose.  I invest into every creation and they are all my favourites … my babies! 🙂

I must thank the wonderful ladies who organise the blog hops and challenges … these are what keep me creating and striving to put my best work forward. Thank you all so much.

I hope you have enjoyed this little review. Let me know what your choices would have been.

xx
Cheryll
