The Come Sail Away Memories and More Card Pack is a fantastic standby for quick and easy masculine cards.
Welcome to my blog …. It’s Cheryll here and today I am sharing a couple more of my display cards from Onstage earlier this year, featuring the Come Sail Away Memories and More Card Pack. If you have this pack on hand, not only will you have a fabulous resource for Pocket Style Memory Keeping, but you will also have ready made elements for quick and easy cards.
This card was absolutely so easy!! I used one of the larger cards for the background layer, which fits perfectly over the Assorted Memories and More Cards & Envelopes! This card already had “The Good Life” printed on it, so I added the Celebrate sticker just above it. Then that gorgeous lighthouse image is on one of the smaller cards, so I simply matted it with Night of Navy cardstock and adhered it to the card front. Add a Sail Away Trinket and a little bit of the Night of Navy and Sahara Sand Baker’s Twine and you are ship shape (I know right … groan)!
This is the smaller note card size folded card from the Assorted Memories and More Cards & Envelopes. The beautiful rope background is from one of the laser cut specialty cards in this pack. I have inked it up with Soft Suede ink and then layered it over a Crumb Cake card layer. I love that this gives the rope elements a mottled effect.
From here it is smooth sailing (sorry more bad puns) with the two little sailboat stickers and “Destination Happiness” cut from another card.
