Soft Pastels were a new addition to the 2021-2022 Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalogue (check them out on page 126). I have used them today combined with the Honeybee Home stamp set and die bundle.

Welcome to my blog on this second
Soft Pastels, Honeybee Home Stamp Set and Honeybee Bloom dies

Today I have created three projects, starting at a simple project using the Honeybee Home stamp set and the Soft Pastels only, and then moving up to a more advanced project which includes the Honeybee Blooms Dies, through to an avid project for a more adventurous crafter.
Let’s explore the projects further.
Soft Pastels are little bars of solid colour, and they can be used in a number of ways to add colour to a project. I have used a variety of tools to add colour, including Blending Brushes, Sponge Daubers, Blender Pen, Water Brush and my finger! A Versamark Ink Pad is also a great tool to use with the Pastels, stamping a slightly sticky image to which colour can be added. The Pastels “stick” to the stamped image.

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Design Team
I am very keen to see how the other Stamping Sunday Design Team members have used the Soft Pastels. You can be sure they will be inspiring you to pull out those pastels and get creating!
