A Mother’s Flair for Mother’s Day by Jodie Meyer
Hello and welcome. Today, the fabulous Jodie Meyer is back to share some Mother’s Day projects with us using a retiring stamp set “A Mother’s Flair”.

Jodie is an amazing paper artist from South Australia and her work is just gorgeous.
Today Jodie is featuring the stamp set “A Mother’s Flair”, as it was intended …. to create wonderful Mother’s Day projects.
A Mother’s Flair
This particular stamp set is, sadly, retiring with the end of the current Annual Catalogue at end of May.
It is a rubber stamp set and comes in both Wood Mount and Clear Mount. If you like the cute images and lovely words, then grab this set before it is no longer available.

Three Note Card and Box Set
Jodie’s first project is a lovely set of notecards and a little box to give them in . Jodie has created the box using Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper in Powder Pink to hold the three note cards and envelopes. Such a gorgeous gift for any Mum.
Do you see how cleverly the round label on the front of the box exactly matches the label on the Powder Pink note card? The three notecards are 9.5cm x 10.5cm, and can be cut from one single sheet of A4 Whisper White Thick cardstock.
Jodie has prepared a handy tutorial for the set of note cards and the box, which you can download here.
The hat from A Mothers Flair is repeat stamped with Powder Pink ink. Jodie has decorated the envelope to match. The envelopes have been made to fit the card size using the envelope punch board.
The Handbag full of flowers is stamped with Lemon Lime Twist ink.
The very stylish Stiletto is stamped with Marina Mist ink … do you remember trying to teeter around in heels this high?
Even the back of the little box is decorated. This is a real overall experience.
And here is another very cute project prepared for you by Jodie. She is such a fantastic designer.
Mini Handbag
How adorable is this Mini Handbag?! It sits 7cm high including the handle and is a real little cutie. The designer series paper is Petal Garden and the handbag is closed with a magnet.
Once opened the bag “explodes” out to reveal the greeting and a small treat if you wish.
The hat from A Mother’s Flair sits nicely on the flap of the handbag and has been clear embossed and fussy cut.
Jodie has provided a tutorial for this mini handbag here. Jodie was inspired by a number of projects online when creating this project and she has prepared her tutorial in metric measurements.
