Top Ten Highlights Winners Blog Hop – January
![]()

Welcome … and a big thank you to all who voted for my card in Kylie Bertucci’s International Blog Highlight in January. I am very humbled to have been voted in the top ten. Here is a reminder of my project for January.
Our hop projects are based around the same theme …. Occasions 2018 Catalogue or Sale-A-Bration items.
I have chosen to go with a stamp set that I totally love … Waterfront! And considering today is Valentine’s Day, I have elected to create a Valentine’s card for my hubby for this hop … and not a heart in sight!!
Waterfront + Pieces & Patterns

I have cased a card by the fabulous Artisan Design Team member, Susan Wong (see Susan’s card here), using the Wild About You greeting from Piece and Patterns Stamp Set with the Waterfront stamp set. The ladies who came along to my Occasions Catalogue Event last weekend created this card and it was a favourite.
For this version, I have used Pink Pirouette and Pumpkin Pie inks with Smoky Slate and Basic Grey. The greeting is white embossed on vellum and Pumpkin Pie cardstock, and then coloured with Stampin’ Blends. It is really quite simple, but very effective!

Waterfront Blues
I changed up the colour scheme for this next card … exactly the same layout, using Soft Sky and Bermuda Bay as the colours, again with Smoky Slate and Basic Grey Archival ink.

I think my hubby will love it … normally i give him a flowery, hearts and roses type card, so this year will be a nice change for him.
Which is your favourite?
The full list of hop participants is below … make sure you visit everyone’s blog for some great Occasions Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration inspiration. And then why don’t you join in Kylie’s Blog Highlight for February and you could be hopping with Kylie next time!
