Welcome to another Creating Kindness Design Team Blog and Video Hop. The theme for November is Support and Friendship, and our guest designer is ….. wait for it … Juana Ambida!!! If you haven’t seen Juana’s work, then you are missing out on some serious creative inspiration.
For my project this month, I have chosen to create a card for a fellow demonstrator who is going through a hard time at the moment.
Roses, roses, roses … this is a bouquet in a card! The star of the show is the rose image from Graceful Garden stamp set. This image is a breeze to colour, whatever method you choose. But look how much depth you can achieve with the new Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers from Stampin’ Up!
The designer series paper is from the Petal Garden Paper Stack, and there is a plethora of rose designs to choose from. The little dots on the scallop are made with a Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blend, to echo the dots in the background Designer Series Paper.
The greeting comes from the “Just Add Text” stamp set and is just perfect for reminding someone how special they are.
I couldn’t stop colouring, so placed another rose on the inside of the card as well.
