Beautiful Blues Kit for Colour INKspiration Challenge 197

Beautiful Blues Kit from Stampin’ Up!® … I pulled out this Beautiful kit as it features one of the CI197 challenge colours, and I have been waiting for a reason to play around with some of the elements to make an alternate card.

For this “re-jigged kit card”, I have used half of one of the folded kit cards, plus a half of one of the feature floral punch out images. Everything else I have added from my stash. I created it live in Youtube … watch the video here.

I have created a little “flip flap front card” … the flap on the front is created with the Everyday Arches dies and I have kept it nic and flat on the front with the addition of some little magnets under the layers.

The colouring of the kit card is Night of Navy and white … perfect for this challenge. I used Misty Moonlight as my base card, and Night of Navy for layering.

I decorated my arched front flappy bit with a half of one of the punch out floral arrangements from the kit and added some white and Night of Navy die cuts from the Unbounded Love dies. These fabulous dies were on the last chance list in South Pacific at time of writing but they were on low inventory, so they won’t last very long. Click the link to see if they are still available.

I introduced Crumb Cake with the sentiment, “celebrate” is from the Unbounded Love Stamp Set (also on last chance list at time of writing). After white heat embossing on Crumb Cake Card, one of the Unbounded Love dies cuts it out.

The little Crumb Cake embellishments are actually Basic Beige (Neutral Matt Dots), coloured up with a Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend.

And here are a set of the cards made up as per the kit instructions … if you don’t want to “re-jig”, then you can make 3 each of these gorgeous cards, which all come with envelopes and everything you need to create including adhesive is in the kit.
Plus you will have a stamp set and Night of Navy ink spot to keep.
