Tasteful Touches Stamp Set and the Tasteful Labels Dies are my featured product from Stampin’ Up! this week.
Welcome once again to Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop, travelling around the world through every time zone. You may be starting here or you may have come from the fabulous Kylie Bertucci’s blog. We are so excited to have both Kylie Bertucci and Bruno Bertucci as guest designers for this month’s hop. And what an exciting hop … we are cas(e)ing fellow team members.
If you haven’t heard the term CAS(e) before, it stands for “Copy and Selectively Edit”, so we are all taking inspiration from a fellow AWOW design team member.
Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop is the brainchild of Angie McKenzie, a wonderful friend and amazing paper artist. My name is Cheryll Miller, and I am so delighted to be a part of this varied and talented group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators.
Cas(e)ing Anne Marie Hile
I was very excited to be cas(e)ing Anne Marie Hile in the “who will we case” draw. Anne Marie has a fabulous clean and sweet style. I took inspiration from a couple of recent projects on her blog.
There are various elements I used from both of these gorgeous projects below. The subtle patterned background on the first card has been clear embossed for an extra touch of shine. And then I totally stole Anne Marie’s idea of fussy cutting the feather on the second card … so realistic Anne Marie … love it. And I love Anne Marie’s super precise and tight layering … I can only hope to emulate that.
Here is a closer view of my card.
I am re-creating my case card just after this post goes live on my Stampin’ Up! Facebook Page.
We also had the option to CAS(e) our guest designers Kylie and Bruno Bertucci. Both Kylie and Bruno have a wonderful style which is very architectural (Bruno) with a touch of fun and softness (Kylie). I am really not sure if I pulled this off, but I tried to do a CBC … “combined Bertucci CAS(e)” … lol.
I used the same focus colour of Petal Pink for both projects. The very retro shape in the background is a die from Tasteful Labels Dies (love it) and I simply die cut various wood grain textures from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper Pack. Touches of the lacy textured stamp from Tasteful Touches in Whisper White Craft ink softens the look a little, repeated in the sentiment panel.
Here is a closer view.
Tasteful Touches Stamp Set and Tasteful Labels Dies
My featured product this week is the Tasteful Touches Stamp Set and the Tasteful Labels Dies. The label dies are a new staple in your die collection I reckon, and the stamp set has some really versatile images and gorgeous sentiments.
I am so excited to see how everyone has case’d their fellow team members this month. Check out all the blogs, so much fun.
Next up is Satomi Wellard in Japan! The full blog hop list is below. So take a little trip around the world and check out all the designers favourite crafting inspiration.
