Frosted Foliage Cling Rubber Stamp Set comes bundled with the Frosted Frames Dies.

Welcome to my blog … if you are thinking … Cheryll is using these colours a lot lately, you would be correct. I was guest designer for the Colour INKspiration Challenge Blog Hop (CI68), but I have also created another card for this current CI challenge.

Colour Inspiration #68

In addition to the challenge colours, you can freely use Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Crumb Cake, metallics and skin-tone blends. If you don’t have the exact challenge colours, you can substitute with your nearest-to colours. This is a really simple challenge to enter, just create and post into the group on facebook!

Here is my second card created for this colour challenge.

Coastal Cabana, Blueberry Bushel, Shaded Spruce and Pretty Peacock

I have used the Frosted Foliage Stamp Set and Frosted Frames Dies again, However you couldn’t get a more different card than my previous project.

For my project today, I have used Coastal Cabana as the base card, for the die cut Foliage Label and for sponging the centre of the greeting piece.

The Pretty Peacock element is from the Come to Gather Designer Series Paper. This paper had a Mint Macaron leaf pattern, so I brayered it with a sponge brayer and Pretty Peacock ink. This not only made the whole piece Pretty Peacock in colour, it muted the busy pattern underneath the already busy feature piece.

Shaded Spruce comes into the mix in the die cut leaves from the Foliage Frames Dies.

Then we came to Blueberry Bushel. This was tough!! Using cardstock was too harsh, so I have incorporated some sponged Blueberry Bushel onto the greeting piece. To tie this sponged piece back into the rest of the card, I added a very fine edging of Pretty Peacock ink with a sponge, all the way around the greeting piece.

Frosted Foliage

Other elements to the card are the Vellum Layer between the Designer Series Paper and the Coastal Cabana folded card front.

The die cut snowflakes are also from the Frosted Frames Dies and after die cutting them from Whisper White cardstock, I have heat embossed them with Shimmer White Stampin’ Emboss Paper. This stuff is so pretty! And I am counting this as my “silver” element seeing as it has little silvery flecks in the powder! 🙂

The delightfully traditional Christmas greeting has been heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder onto Whisper White card, and then sponged with Coastal Cabana, Blueberry Bushel and Pretty Peacock inks. Give it all a polish with a clean soft cloth when done to really make that embossing pop.

This was my project for the Colour Inkspration Blog Hop …

Frosted Foliage Cling Rubber Stamp Set and Frosted Frames Dies

Sadly, this Stamp Set and Die Set are both retiring with the 2019 Holiday Catalogue. They are available as a bundle *while stocks last*, so if this is one that you have earmarked in the catalogue, get in and get it quickly. Many Holiday Catalogue items are selling out and once the retiring items are gone, they are gone.

If you haven’t visited the Colour INKspirations facebook page, before, make sure you take a look. And maybe pop a card into the colour challenge!
