Making it up as we go along …

Recently, my wonderful Inks and Whimsy team took part in a “progressive card challenge”, where a card was created, step by step, with written instructions for each step being posted on our team page over a series of days (no images). Everyone participating used what supplies they had on hand. I posted each instruction progressively …. and for a while, I didn’t even know what the finished product would look like.
It was a lot of fun and everyone’s card is similar but different.
Here is my finished card.
The stripes are drawn freehand with an Aqua Painter and So Saffron ink. The remainder of the stamps are from the Blooms & Wishes stamp set.
And here is Wendy’s finished card. You can see more of Wendy’s lovely work on her facebook page. Wendy resides in Proserpine, Queensland.
And Robyn’s card is a totally different colour way, but just as pretty! Love the use of designer series paper as the background layer. Robyn is from South Australia, based south of Adelaide.
And then Jackie created a totally different vibe using a brighter colour for her stripes. Jackie is based in the Tweed Heads area, New South Wales and holds regular classes if you are in that area. Jackie’s contact email is Themcgees67@gmail.com.
Aren’t they all lovely! We had a lot of fun with this challenge.
I am part of a wonderful team of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators … The Inks and Whimsy team. This looks like so much fun!
Hey Natalie! I actually did have a lot of fun. I gave myself some time to “free create” and it was such a pleasure! xx
