Stitched All Around for Go For Greece Blog Hop – July 2018
![]()
Stitched All Around is a versatile “all rounder”. Tee hee!

Welcome to my blog and the Go For Greece Blog Hop for July. We are a group of demonstrators in a training/mentoring group call “Go For Greece”, organised and headed up by the fabulous Kylie Bertucci. There is so much more to the group than just the training … I have formed great friendships and truly appreciate the supportive nature of everyone involved.
Stitched All Around Bundle

You may have noticed that I REALLY like this bundle of products! Both the dies and stamp images co-ordinate with just about any other stamp set, however, they are a great stand-alone bundle also.

Bundle includes Stitched All Around Stamp Set and Stitched Labels Framelits Dies.
Bundle pricing AUD$81.00 for clear mount rubber (148374)
or AUD$93.50 for wood mount rubber (148373)
and it is on page 17 of the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue
Going it alone …
My card today highlights how effective the stamp set and dies are as a stand-alone set of products. I have added one ink colour (Petal Pink) and some gold embossing and featured the intricate stitched labels.

Other design elements …
Repeat stamp one image to create a custom background – The Stamparatus was invaluable for lining up the long decorative image perfectly. A little bit fiddly as you have to stamp and gold emboss each image before moving onto the next one, but the Polypropylene Imaging Sheet made lining up those images so easy. For a visual demonstration of this, check out my facebook live tonight.
Use one ink colour lets the die cut elements feature – Petal Pink is the only ink colour used in the card, so the focus is the die cut labels and the gold elements.
Add texture to a label with an embossing folder – The largest label was die cut from Whisper White Thick card and then texture added with the Subtle Embossing Folder and the big shot. To highlight both the subtle linen look texture and the beautiful lacy edges of the label, I sponged (gently) around the edges of the label with Petal Pink ink.
Repeat elements tie the card together – Adding a gold die cut label and some gold heat embossing to the greeting complements the gold embossing in the background and gives the card a touch of elegance.
A different way to add thread – While the labels are all adhered to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals, and so are perfectly able to hold themselves on the card front, threading the Whisper White Baker’s Twine through the open ends of the gold label and tying in a bow makes it look like the labels are held on with the thread.

As always, I have decorated the inside of the card while I had all my supplies out.

It is such a pretty, delicate card with lots of texture and shine!
