Sky is the Limit – Last Chance
![]()

It is a squadron of cute little bi-planes zooming their way to all my lovely customers who purchased from me in January! I have taken the opportunity to use Sky is the Limit, a Sale-A-Bration stamp set that will be gone forever on 14th February (or sooner if stocks run out). The only way to get this set is free with a purchase of $90 … so if you had your eye on this one, better get in quick!

I used the Sky is the Limit card on page 17 in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue as my inspiration, using the large flower from the Flower Fair Framelits to create the clouds. I stamped some texture first (I Think You’re Great stamp set, available in Clear Mount or Wood Mount), using Pool Party and So Saffron inks … and then die cut the large flower and trimmed off the bottom. One cloud is created with White Vellum, just to keep it light and “cloudy”. This card features a Pool Party background layer. I stitched my layers together, but of course you can skip this step (or create some faux stitches with a Paper Piercing Template – Essentials).

Here is another with So Saffron layering! I also took the idea for the Vellum propellor straight out of the Sale-A-Bration catalogue (smaller flowers from the Flower Fair Framelits). My hubby tells me that Bi Planes only have a two bladed propellor, so technically this card is not correct … he is such a boy! I told him that a real crafter never lets fact get in the way of a good creative idea! 🙂

One of the appropriate greetings from the Sky is the Limit set and a few puffy clouds on the inside of the card finishes this project off nicely.
So if you purchased something from me last month, one of these little creations will be winging it’s way to you tomorrow! Thank you!
Cheers
Cheryll

What a great idea to take a flower für the propellor.
