Marbled Elegance Suite – Heart & Home – Stamping Sunday
![]()
Marbled Elegance Suite is an online product from Stampin’ Up!® and has been used to create a project for the Stamping Sunday Heart & Home Blog Hop for January 2025.

Heart & Home …
I had a little idea for this hop theme which required a house stamp or die … and I didn’t have one! 🙁 So I used some shape dies to build a house! 🙂

I used the Stylish Shapes Dies and the Nested Essentials Dies to create my house. These two die sets are stalwarts in my collection … I use them all the time. Here is how I created my house.

Marbled Elegance Suite …
Of course, the Marbled Elegance suite was perfect to use for the “Hearts” element. I did pull in a few other products as well … the Modern Herringbone Embossing Folder and I used the little heart stamps and dies from Classic Wedding bundle (both online exclusive products). The word “HOME” is created from the Mini Alphabet Dies … another staple in my crafting collection. It seems like a lot, but it shows that you can go through your stash and pull out lots of different items to bring an idea to fruition.

I stamped parts of sentiments from the Hearts of Elegance Stamp Set and those little textured hearts from the Classic Wedding Stamp Set in Real Red and Melon Mambo Inks onto my house parts before gluing them together.
The word “Heart” is white heat embossed onto the floral designed paper from Marbled Elegance DSP … and then die cut with a stitched heart die from the Hearts of Elegance dies. This is popped up onto the house with dimensionals.
The decorative strip is white card, embossed with the Modern Herringbone Embossing Folder, which has wonderful strips in the design which can be trimmed out to make smaller pieces.
I die cut the letters of the word Home from the Mini Alphabet Dies from the same Designer Series Paper and black cardstock and adhered them together to create a small drop shadow effect.
The other parts of the phrase have been printed on my computer (white print on a black background), adhered to black cardstock and then cut out with paper snips.
And finally, the “smoke” coming from the chimney are little heart dies from the Classic Wedding die set and black cardstock. So cute!!!!

I used one of the sentiments from Hearts of Elegance stamp set for the inside, along with some more of those cute little Classic Wedding hearts … cut from the same designer series paper.

So what do you think? This is not my usual style of card project, but I very much enjoyed working to bring an idea to life from idea to finished project.
I am excited to see how the other designers interpreted this theme … hop on over to to the amazing Yvonne Spikmans blog first, then follow the hop all the way through the entire blog hop list. I know you will be thrilled by the creativity. I am off to check out all the amazing designer’s projects now … don’t forget to leave comments as you go. We love comments so we know you are out there and looking at our creations.
See you next month.

What a clever and creative card Cheryll! I love all the different elements you pulled together and how you created your own custom paper for the house. Amazing!!!
Thanks Tami! I found a box of “inspiration” with random pictures cut out of magazines, pieces of fabric, other bits and bobs back from before the internet was a thing 🙂 And the little stamped house with a heart on it was a clipping in there. This card reminds me of ATC’s back when we used to do them to swap. xxxx
