Nests of Winter Suite for All Star Video Class Bundle – November 2024
Nests of Winter Suite from the Stampin’ Up!® Sep – Dec 2024 Mini Catalogue is a versatile set of products with winterly feel. The Stamp Set and Dies are bundled, the Designer Series Paper features natural tones and patterns and birds in all colours. The suite also includes the Birchwood embossing folder, co-ordinating linen thread in three colours and Earth Tones Shimmer Gems.
Hello and welcome to the November 2024 All Star Video Class Bundle Blog Hop.
This hop introduces you to the Video Class Bundle featuring the Nest of Winter suite of products. Each month, 12 amazing designers prepare a video class featuring a different suite of products from the current Stampin’ Up! range, including a PDF with full supplies list and measurements in both Metric and Imperial. Here is a little sneak peek of my class project for our video bundle this month. It features many elements from the suite to create a highly textured card with a light and airy feel.
The projects shown in our blog posts today are different to the video class projects (the class projects are exclusive and you won’t see them posted anywhere else).
Nest of Winter Suite …
This is the Nests of Winter suite of products … I have been enjoying using it this last month, particularly the stamped bird images which are a delight to colour. The die set includes a frame of pine leaves which can be used in many ways. Some of the images in the Designer Series paper can be cut out with the dies, or use the dies with the stamped images. The fabulously talented All Star Video Class Bundle designers are each showcasing an alternative project to show the versatility of the products for this hop. So including the class bundle projects, that is a total of 24 project ideas using this suite … amazing!!
Winterly Tree Tops Bundle …
For my blog hop project today, I have elected to use a deeper colour palette, featuring Pecan Pie and Basic Beige. And I have showcased a technique using circle dies to create the retro 60’s look feature panel. The birds are similar colouring but the yellow shading is deeper with the addition of Pecan Pie in the colouring. I love that you can make these birds any colour you like … traditional colours or more whimsical colours!
MATERIALS
Winterly Tree Tops Bundle / Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder / Pecan Pie, crumb Cake and Basic Beige Card Stock / Basic White Cardstock for stamping / Stampin’ Blends for colouring / Stylish Shapes Dies / Earth Tones Shimmer Gems

Step 1 / Emboss a panel of Pecan Pie card stock with the Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to Basic Beige card front.
Step 2 / Die cut the foliage frame from Winterly Tree Tops Dies from Pecan Pie cardstock. Cut into strips and adhere down left hand side of the embossed panel.
Step 3 / Die cut the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes dies, three in Crumb Cake and two in Basic Beige. Then die cut the smallest circle from one of the circles, close to one edge. Cut consecutively larger circles from alternating card stock colours, a little closer to the edge each time. Keep the circles for another project. Adhere the circles with the holes in together as per the sample. Sit back and admire the cool effect before adhere the panel to the front of the card.
Step 4 / Stamp the bird image from Winterly Tree Tops Stamp Set with Memento Black ink on Basic White Thick cardstock. Colour with chosen colours in Stampin’ Blends and then die cut. Adhere onto the circular panel. Add mini dimensionals to any overhanging parts of the image.
Step 5 / Stamp a small sentiment with Black ink on Basic Beige cardstock. Trim out close to the words and edge the piece with black ink. Adhere to the card front.
Step 6 / Add Earth Tones Shimmer Gems.
Step 7 / Decorate the inside of the card as desired.
