Looking at 3D Projects Around the World on Wednesday

Hey Birthday Chick and Hey Chick are out of catalogue Stamp Set and Die bundles, used today to create a 3D Project.
My project is a 3d Card, made to free stand once assembled, folds flat for posting.

Around the World on Wednesday

Welcome once again to Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop, travelling around the world through every time zone. You may be starting here or you may have come from the fabulous Rochelle Laird-Smith’s Blog.

Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop is the brainchild of Angie McKenzie, a wonderful friend and amazing paper artist. My name is Cheryll Miller, and I am so delighted to be a part of this varied and talented group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators.

Hey Birthday Chick Bendi Card …

I have been hanging out to use the new Birthday Chick Stamp Set and co-ordinating dies, along with the returning Hey Chick stamp set and co-ordinating dies. A fun 3d project was the perfect way to showcase these very cute sets, lots of panels to feature multiple chickens on a Bendi Card.

Hey Birthday Chick

Two panels affixed to a card back, with tabs that slot into each other to form bendy layers on the card front. Very difficult to photograph!!!

The die cut fence pieces and chicken wire help define the two bendy panels.

I have used the chicken images from the Hey Birthday Chick set, and dies from both of the die sets, to create a chicken coop scene.

A photograph from above shows the two bendy panels, and how they slot together to form a free standing card.

I have placed a chicken on each panel, the smaller cake eating chicken (my chickens LOVE cake) on the front smaller panel, along with the die cut Happy Birthday, which is Bermuda Bay card and coloured with Wink of Stella for shimmer.

The second panel features a very happy chicken dancing on a wood stump, some rusty chicken wire and two bags of chicken feed.

The two front panels open out to reveal the back panel of the card, elements of which show behind the top of the second panel. All panels have some additional colour applied with Blending Brushes, Garden Green for the lower parts of the panels, and Bermuda Bay over the top of the back panel. Applying colour over the Sahara Sand cardstock gives muted shades.

Once the tabs are pulled out of the slots, this card folds flat and fits in a standard envelope.

The rest of the AWOW design team have lots of amazing 3d Projects for you to check out.
