Colourful Seasons for Global Design Project 214
Colourful Seasons is an old favourite stamp set from the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue.
Welcome to my blog … so many times, old favourite stamp sets lanquish on the shelf as newer products pique our interest. Today I am dusting off Colourful Seasons, a photopolymer stamp set that has been around for a few years now, along with the co-ordinating Seasonal Layers dies.
I am participating in the Global Design Project Challenge #214, a sketch challenge. Here is the sketch we are to loosely follow, or closely follow, depending on your preference!
You can see I have followed the sketch fairly closely. Following the sketch made this card creation so easy. Choose your stamp set and the just place elements in a similar manner to the sketch.
The Pasta Card!
The only thing was, I couldn’t find a ribbon or twine in the yellow colouring I was looking for. So …. Perennial Essence Vellum to the rescue. I cut some strips of the So Saffron vellum and wrapped them around the Designer Series Paper. My husband had called this card the “pasta card” because he reckons the yellow strips look like dried pasta!
