Sneak Peak Cards

Sneak Peak Cards

Make and Take 1 ConventionThese cards were the Make and Take Projects from Stampin’ Up! Convention. I love that everybody attending convention gets plenty of time to complete these projects, that Stampin’ Up! provide everything to create the cards, and all attendees get the stamp set to take home.  This set is new in the 2015-2016 Catalogue and is called “I Think You’re Great”. The flower like background image is created by applying two tones of ink to the square stamp in a circular shape with sponge daubers.

Make and Take 2 Convention

This card uses another two stamps from the same set and the technique is called the “Kissing” technique.  Intrigued?  Stay tuned for more details. Oh and the envelope is made with the Envelope Punch Board.

Convention Make & Take Kissing

Our last make and take also featured the “I Think You’re Great” stamp set.  The banner is repeat stamped with the funky scallop image from this set.  The greeting is easily punched with the 4.4cm circle punch and the pretty flower petals are created using the Flower Medallion Punch. And the lovely graduated water colour background is very easy and quick to do using Watercolour Paper, Aqua Painters and an ink pad. The envelope flap is created with paper from one of the new Designer Series Paper Sets “Everyday Chic” which includes 12 black and white designs, perfect for colouring (as I have done here, colouring just a few hearts to create interest).

All of these cards were very easy to create. For full instructions and product list, drop me an email and I will email right out to you.  Similarly, if you haven’t pre-ordered your new catalogue yet, let me know so I can have one mailed directly to you.
